Great Central girder bridge over the L.N.W.R. near Calvert
Looking west along the permanent way of the London & North Western Railway towards the embankment and plate girder bridge that carried the Great Central's Last Main Line south towards Calvert. The junction on the right is thought to have led to a contractor's siding. Note the signal rodding that is running along the centre of the trackbed.
