Temporary bridge at Twyford
This temporary bridge was built to span the river that lay on the London Extension route immediately north of Twyford, Buckinghamshire. Built by Walter Scott & Co. as part of Contract No.6 (Brackley to Quainton Road), the brick abutments of the permanent structure are already taking shape.
