Junction and signal box on the Banbury Branch, Oxfordshire
Looking across the permanent way of the Banbury Branch line towards the junction with the Great Western Railway. Note the brick arch overbridge beyond the line of semaphore signals, and the ballast on the right of the picture still to be swept over the sleepers. This later section of the Last Main Line was built between October 1897 and June 1900.
