Photograph of Formby Sand Dunes, looking between two sand dunes towards the sea, with Edward Chambré Hardman in the distance. Hardman has written of this image This needed a figure, and as it was very early in the morning there was no one about. I put the camera on a tripod and used the delayed action shutter to allow myself time to run to the appropriate spot and assume a nonchalant attitude. 3¼ x 4¼ Sanderson camera, pale yellow filter. Published in September 1930 in the local press.
