Neon Frontage at Walthamstow Dog Racing Stadium

Famous for its greyhound racing track, Walthamstow Stadium opened in 1933. With a distinctive pink and green neon-lit frontage, the stadium has been one of the capital's most recognised landmarks. Falling profits and attendances have forced the Chandler Family, owners since the opening of the stadium, to sell up and the stadium is due to close in August 2008.
