Blood glucose tester

Blood sugar level tester for use by diabeticpatients resting on a chart. This device measuresthe level of glucose in the blood. Diabetes is adisorder in which the production of the hormone insulin , which regulates blood glucose levels,is reduced. Diabetic patients need to regularlycheck their blood glucose levels and injectthemselves with insulin if the level is abnormal.To use this device, the skin must be pricked torelease a drop of blood. The chip (protruding fromthe device) is then held against the blood, and itsucks up the amount required for the test. Theblood glucose level is then displayed on an LCDscreen (not seen).
