This evocative photograph captures the moment of camaraderie and determination between two of the Australian Navy's most iconic warships, HMAS Australia and HMAS New Zealand, during the First World War. Launched in 1911, both ships were part of the Indefatigable class of battlecruisers, a class that would come to symbolize the naval power and resilience of the British Empire during the Great War.
