"Baptised: A Sacred Ritual Connecting Humanity Through Time and Space" The act of baptism has transcended centuries, cultures, and continents. From the biblical account of Jesus being baptised by John in the Jordan River in Israel back in 1902 to modern-day christenings in various parts of the world, this sacred ritual holds deep significance. In that momentous event when Jesus was baptised by John, a powerful symbol emerged - an affirmation of faith and purification. Meanwhile, Switzerland paints its own picture with Anne Baebi Jowaeger sitting at a table surrounded by family after her grandchild's recent baptism.
