"AMOC HRDC Silverstone 5th April 2014: A Day of Classic Racing Delights" On the 5th of April 2014, the AMOC HRDC event at Silverstone brought together an impressive lineup of classic cars and passionate drivers. Among them was CM1 3770 David Devine, skillfully maneuvering his Riley 1500 around the track. The roaring engine of LVG 111 could be heard as CM1 3755 Paul Hocking and Geoff Turral showcased their talents in the Abarth 750 Derivita. Meanwhile, CM1 3754 Christopher Unsworth took control of his Austin A40, gracefully gliding through each turn. The crowd couldn't help but admire the vintage charm exuded by Austin A40's competitor, CM1 3818 driven by Alistair Dyson in his Ford Zephyr Mk2 with license plate number "639 HYM". John Polson joined him on the track with a powerful Riley 1500 bearing WSJ491. The thunderous growl emitted from Richard Butterfield and Tom Butterfield's Jaguar Mk1 (UDU779) sent shivers down everyone's spines as they raced past effortlessly. In contrast, CM1-3803 belonged to David Griffiths who confidently handled his Standard Vanguard Vignalle III. Max Cawthorn showcased elegance behind the wheel of his Wolsey 1500 (MDX557), while Geoff Gordon commanded attention with his Alfa Romeo Giulietta Ti alongside Mike Jordan and Andrew Jordan in their Austin A40 (CM13700). Tom Shephard made heads turn with his sleek Alfa Romeo Giulietta Berlina (CM13781). Darryl Davis embraced nostalgia driving an Ashley A40 (BDV660C), while Ed Glaister opted for a classic Ford Anglia100E sporting license plate "3253 KH" (CM13771).
