Johnstoni Collection

Johnstoni (Cercopithecidae) is a group of mammals in the primate family, and are found in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, and are medium-sized primates with long tails and short fur that can range from gray to brown or black. They have long arms and legs for climbing trees, as well as sharp claws on their hands and feet for gripping branches. Their diet consists mainly of fruits, leaves, nuts, insects, and small animals such as lizards or birds. Johnstoni live in groups of up to 30 individuals which help protect them from predators such as leopards or hyenas. They communicate through vocalizations like barks and screams which can be heard up to 1 km away. They have complex social structures with males being dominant over females but both sexes working together to raise their young.
