The Boudoir, a lady's private sitting room, is next, followed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Drawing Room. The Housekeeper's Office is where the day-to-day running of the household was managed. The Kitchen, a hive of activity, prepared meals for the Prime Minister and their guests. The Clerical Offices and Secretaries' Offices were where the administrative work of the government was carried out. The Private Secretary's Office was where the Prime Minister's most confidential matters were handled. The Cabinet Room, a large, oak-paneled space, was where the most important decisions of the government were made. Lastly, the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Office and the Chief Whip's Office complete the tour of this historic building.
