The Copernican System, proposed by the great Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus in the 16th century, placed the Sun, not the Earth, at the center of the universe. This revolutionary concept challenged the long-held geocentric model and opened up new ways of interpreting the natural world. Circling the Sun, the planets are arranged in their correct order from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Saturn's largest moon, Titan.
