The West Indies' Clyde Walcott, dancing out to a ball during the current tour of England. Walcott, born in Barbados in 1926, is one of the highest scoring Test cricketers of recent years. He achieved a record of five centuries against Australia in the 1954-55 Test series, twice scoring two centuries in a match. Until an injury in Australia in 1951-52 he was the West Indies' wicket keeper for some time. Walcott made his debut on his 16th birthday in 1942.
