Born on November 21, 1880, in St. Petersburg, Blok is considered one of the most influential figures in Russian literature and poetry. Known for his symbolist and modernist works, Blok's poetry explored themes of love, death, and the supernatural, often reflecting the political and social upheavals of his time.
